Jerzy Szurowski

(born 1930 in Poznań, died ?) Cameraman and still photographer. Member of the Polish Home Army, fought in the quarter Śródmieście in Warsaw uprising. He began his activity in the film industry in 1954, when he became a full-time employee of a newly established Feature Films Studio in Wrocław. He worked as camera assistant. He used the possibility also to make stills on the set. He cooperated mainly with director Stanisław Lenartowicz and made stills for almost all his movies in the 50’s and 60’s. He worked in the Studio until the early 1990’s.
